By booking or participating in any services provided by Yarrowstead Ltd. (“Yarrowstead,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Scope of Services

Yarrowstead Ltd. provides sauna, cold plunge, and related wellness services, including sessions at fixed locations, private bookings, and may be the location for fitness classes, such as but not limited to: yoga, pilates, dance and breathwork (collectively, the “Services”).

Acknowledgment of Risk

You understand that participation in sauna, cold exposure, and related wellness activities involves inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to:

Overheating, dehydration, burns
Cold shock, hypothermia, cramping
Cardiovascular stress or complications
Dizziness, fainting, or respiratory distress
Slips, falls, or physical injury
Reactions to chemicals in cold tubs/water
Illness, seizures, or death

You further acknowledge:

Alternating between hot and cold exposure may increase these risks
These Services are not supervised by medical professionals
Certain individuals (including those with heart conditions, blood pressure issues, respiratory conditions, epilepsy, or pregnancy) may face elevated risk
You are solely responsible for understanding your physical condition and limitations
You will remain aware of environmental hazards and follow all posted or verbal safety instructions

Failure to follow safety guidelines may result in removal without refund.

Assumption of Risk

You voluntarily accept full responsibility for all risks associated with participation in the Services, whether arising from your own actions, the actions of others, environmental conditions, or the negligence of Yarrowstead Ltd. and its owners, employees, contractors, or affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”).

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and discharge Yarrowstead Ltd. and the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising from or related to:

Personal injury
Illness or medical complications
Property loss or damage
Death

This applies whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

You further agree not to bring any legal action against Yarrowstead Ltd. and to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims brought on your behalf or by third parties.

Health and Safety Requirements

By participating, you confirm that you will:

Not participate while under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Not participate if you are unwell or have a condition that may pose a risk
Immediately stop and notify staff if you feel unwell or unsafe
Follow all instructions and posted rules

You acknowledge that Yarrowstead Ltd. does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Bookings and Payments

All bookings and payments are processed through Vagaro, a third-party platform.

By booking:

You agree to Vagaro’s terms and policies
You authorize payment for services selected
You accept any posted pricing, cancellation terms, and applicable fees

Yarrowstead Ltd. is not responsible for errors or failures caused by third-party systems.

Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellation and refund policies are presented at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full
Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at our discretion
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or operational needs

Personal Property

You are solely responsible for your belongings.

Yarrowstead Ltd. is not liable for:

Lost, stolen, or damaged items
Damage caused by heat, moisture, cold exposure, or environmental conditions

Privacy and Data Use

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we are not liable for unauthorized access or breaches beyond our control.

Media Consent

By participating in public sessions, you grant Yarrowstead Ltd. permission to capture and use photos, video, or audio recordings of you for marketing and promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to be recorded, you must notify staff prior to participation.

Code of Conduct

You agree to behave respectfully and safely at all times.

We reserve the right to:

Refuse service
Remove participants
Cancel bookings

…if behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Third-Party Services

We may rely on third-party providers (including Vagaro, payment processors, and advertising platforms). We are not responsible for their actions, policies, or system failures.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yarrowstead Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Any liability, if established, is limited to the amount paid for the Services.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alberta.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
